they’re so CUTE
If Lupita is the real life Disney Princess, can Jennifer be the real life quirky side kick?
Demigirls and demiboys have no safe spaces specific to them and they face a lot of harassment and end up being the butt of a lot of transphobic jokes because they’re an easy scapegoat. It’s very much the type of thing I feel like will be commonly accepted online in a few years, kind of like the more well known binary genders like agender and bigender and genderqueer. Or at least, not the same level of harassment and more support.
I really wanna make a demigirl, or demigender safe space blog, because there really needs to be one, but I don’t think I’d be comfortable going in alone without several mods with me just because transphobes and binary policers and trolls and just lots of harassment i would not want to face alone.
I feel like it may be a demigirl specific thing just because I am a demigirl, and I know there are demigirls following me who might be interested in this, but as of right now I don’t know any demiboys. Maybe just because I’ve never been in that tag or ventured to that side of things.
To be honest though I’m not sure how comfortable I’d feel going into making a demigender blog alone, because trolls, and assholes, and transphones, and nonbinary policers. I’d wanna have a mod or two alongside going into it.
I kind of want to make a safespace blog for demigirls and demigender people in general. There’s plenty of blogs for nonbinary people in general, but I notice demigirls and demiboys especially, end up kind of being a footnote.
I want a place where people can be like “yeah man, I’m not gonna be harassed by these people because they think my gender is too ‘special snowflake” or whatever else. Resources too, and stuff about dmab demigirls and dfab demiboys and stuff like that. Just having a space for us all would be awesome.
Xe was a demigirl, they weren’t anything - could I ask for simple representation?
